Subject: "Drop All" does not drop server connections
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Unknown
I have a client with a busy production hub server. One particular database seems to be causing a great deal of problems (log shows corrupt documents in the database and replicator task of remote servers hangs when trying to replicate that particular database).
In order to perform a fixup and compact on this one database, I need to drop all of the open connections to it. Typically Drop All followed by dbcache flush should be sufficient...
Using Drop All from the server console drops all users but leaves all server connections open (and idle) to the database in question and therefore I cannot run the appropriate maintenance tools.
Other than shutting down the server, is there anyway to have these connections dropped?
J.
